DANCE INSTRUCTION
All participants receive over six hours of formal instruction each day. As always, the school has instructors on hand for the needs and pace of beginners. Highland dance classes cover practice technique, exercises and warm-ups, championship steps, and choreography.
Evening Workshops – Special Pass for Non-Students
Formal classes end at 5:00 p.m., and we offer many terrific evening workshops to complement your daily studies. Evening classes include sessions for smallpipes, whistles, step-dancing, canntaireachd, Highland dance for pipe band musicians and great lectures and Q&A with some of the world’s best pipe band and solo musicians!
All evening sessions are open to friends and family, as well as registered students. All proceeds from these events and the ceilidh go to the PHSD scholarship fund.
Personal Instruction
While you’re here, you’ll get the chance to work one-on-one with instructors to get advice on any aspect of dancing.
Join current and seven-time World Champion David Wilton for two weeks of exceptional dancing tuition! David is an inspiration to highland dancers around the world because of his amazing talent, championship record and likeable personality. Dancers from Beginner to Premier will experience high energy dancing fun!
